Description
The Delta II is a stylish, discrete wall-mounted UV-LED fly trap engineered for technicians. Its T-shaped placement of 8W + 4W UV LEDs (365 nm — the peak of the UV range proven most attractive to flies) guides flies by phototaxis to land inside, where a folded funnel glueboard captures them from all sides. A proprietary UV-transparent diffusion cover creates a glare-free indirect glow that is more attractive to flies than direct light, and resists aging from UV-A exposure.
In field-simulation chamber trials against industry-leading 30W fluorescent uplight ILTs (flies caught within 120 minutes), the Delta II caught on average more than 32% more flies — while using less than half the power (12W).
